IDAHO STATE TREASURER JULIE ELLSWORTH
Honorary Co-Chair
Elected Idaho’s 24th State Treasurer in 2018 and re-elected in 2022, Julie Ellsworth served 12 years in the Idaho House of Representatives. Since taking office in 2019, she has focused on efficient, transparent operations and customer service while maintaining Idaho’s high bond rating. Julie’s diverse experience includes roles as a civil mediator, business consultant, foundation grant evaluator, and public-school teacher. Julie is passionate about advancing financial literacy and empowering individuals and organizations with the knowledge and tools to make confident decisions and build a strong financial foundation.

Teresa Irish
Founder and Co-Chair
Originally from Michigan and a proud Michigan State graduate, Teresa began her career in University Housing at Idaho State before moving into the corporate world. Teresa’s career focused on operational effectiveness and acquisition integration across the staffing, home health, and hospice industries, later evolving into an independent process consultant. She is author of the book A Thousand Letters Home, based on her father’s 1,000 handwritten letters from WWII, sharing this moving and motivational story of war, love, and life at over 300 venues. Teresa serves on the 2026 Women’s Gift Alliance Grant Committee and volunteers for the Center for New Directions.

Jan Tymesen
Founding Member and Co-Chair
Born in Nebraska and raised in a military family, Jan made CdA her home in 1988 after earning an Economics Degree from the University of Utah. As a Certified Financial Planner, she leads a team at the North Idaho Investment Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, where she provides expert financial guidance. Jan is actively involved in her community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Women’s Gift Alliance and participating on the Investment Committee for the Innovia Foundation, demonstrating her commitment to empowering others and fostering local development.

Amy Warker
Founding Member
A native of Coeur d’Alene, Amy holds a bachelor’s degree from Lewis-Clark State College. She has over 20 years of experience in financial marketing and is Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing for STCU. Amy’s commitment to community engagement is evident through her roles as President of the Board of Directors for the Coeur d’Alene Downtown Association, and as a board member of the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber of Commerce where she actively contributes to local development and economic growth.

Louisa Rogers
Founding Member
Louisa is the Program Coordinator for the Center for New Directions at NIC, a department that assists students and community members in overcoming barriers in their lives. Louisa has worked in the realm of social services for almost a decade, including child protection and juvenile probation. Louisa was named a 2024 Woman of Distinction by the Soroptimists and received Kootenai County’s Top 30 Under 40 award. She sits on the board of Charity Reimagined and is a member of North Idaho’s Strengthening Families Coalition.

Patricia “Pat” Krug
Founding Member
Originally from New York, Pat is a graduate of New York State University at Potsdam. She moved west in 1976 and owned and operated a commercial fishing boat and worked in restaurant management before moving to CDA. Licensed in ID and WA, Pat has been in real estate since 1985. She is the designated broker and a co-owner of Windermere CdA Realty, and a co-owner of Seasons of Coeur d’Alene. Pat is president of the Women’s Gift Alliance, founder of the Elderly Christmas Adoption Program for the Area Agency on Aging, and a founding member of the North Idaho Republicans and the North Idaho Federated Republican Women. Pat was named 2021 Idaho Nonprofit Adult Philanthropist of the Year and is a recipient of the Soroptimist “Women of Distinction” award.

Tarie Zimmerman

A chartered financial planning counselor (CRPC®), Tarie is a financial advisor with Star Financial, a Wealth Management Company in CDA. Her career began in aerospace engineering at a Fortune 500 company in Phoenix before transitioning to finance. Tarie has a bachelor’s degree in business and finance, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Passionate about financial empowerment, Tarie helps clients make informed, strategic decisions to build and secure their financial future. Her expertise includes investment planning, retirement solutions, and wealth management. Tarie is Chair of the NIC Board of Trustees, is a board member of the Lakeshore Property Owners Assn, and is an active member of the CdA Rotary.

Lisa Adams

Lisa is the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Idaho Bankers Association and the founder of Spark Your Path | Lisa Adams LLC, where she empowers women and entrepreneurs to build confidence in their financial and business journeys. With more than 30 years of experience in media, coaching, and community engagement, Lisa combines practical strategies with encouragement to help others achieve financial clarity and long-term success.

Christina Long
Committee Member
Christina has over 20 years of experience helping financial institutions successfully navigate regulation and risk—without jargon or intimidation. Her career spans from regulatory examination to risk consulting to leading compliance and risk programs for financial institutions. Known for making “risk and compliance” far less scary (and occasionally even fun), Christina is passionate about helping others feel confident navigating the financial world. She also volunteers with the Center for New Directions, and holds a BS degree in Finance and a MS degree in Management and Leadership.

Maren Maier
Committee Member
Maren is a Regional Marketing Specialist with STCU, supporting regional growth through strategic marketing initiatives, collaboration, and community engagement. She brings 20+ years experience across marketing, community relations, business development, and commercial banking, working closely with business organizations, nonprofits, municipalities and local leaders to strengthen regional connections. Maren has a strong history of community involvement, having served on multiple nonprofit and economic development boards and committees, and is actively engaged with civic organizations and regional chambers of commerce. She remains committed to service and leadership that supports local businesses, families, and community vitality.
